CHSA - Calgary Home Schoolers Association

Calgary Home Schoolers Association

Welcome to CHSA

Mission Statement

The Calgary Home Schoolers Association is a non-profit support group of Calgary-area home schoolers whose mission is to create opportunities and programmes for social and academic support and enrichment. CHSA is a non-denominational association open to families of diverse faiths, backgrounds, philosophies and school boards.

CHSA welcomes ideas and suggestions from its members. CHSA is organized and controlled by the members. There is no gambling fundraising, and no mandatory fundraising.

Membership is only $5.00 per year (per family). This includes social time for children and parents, and access to our CHSA Yahoo group. CHSA offers a place to meet and be in community with other families who home school.

Activities

Parents organize workshops and classes with instructors that have expertise in various fields of interest to engage kids of various age groups.

You can view the current schedule for class details here: Schedule or Schedule Details.

Social Time for Kids to Meet

It's a great place for children, tweens and teens to make friends, and for parents to talk.
